K50UX2CRA Description
Banner Engineering K50UX2CRA is a wireless ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the K50U series. It features a time-of-flight system for software adjustment and is designed with an M50 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. The sensor is housed in thermoplastic material and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on an RS-485 communication protocol and supports a supply voltage range of 3.5Vdc-5.5Vdc (5Vdc nominal) or 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal). The K50UX2CRA can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6. It has an M50 thread size, a sensing distance of 10cm to 1m, and operates at a transmission frequency of 114kHz.
