K50UX2ARA Description
Banner Engineering K50UX2ARA is a wireless ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the K50U series, designed with a time-of-flight system and a 1-wire serial interface for software adjustment. This sensor features an M50 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a thermoplastic housing, ensuring durability. It is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The K50UX2ARA operates on a supply voltage of 3.5Vdc to 5.5Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 5Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor has an M50 thread size and is capable of sensing distances from 30cm to 3m, utilizing a 114kHz transmission frequency for accurate distance measurement.
